• Proven track record of using deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing, and computational statistics in real-world problems and typically messy (noisy) structured and unstructured data
• Experienced developing highly-scalable solutions to complex big data problems by leveraging machine learning, big-data tools, and state-of-the-art computing services in combination with self-developed algorithms
• Deep expertise in financial markets (equities, fixed-income, credit, futures, options) and trading including market microstructure, signal generation, and risk management

2022 Talk: Entertain with Knowledge

Netflix’s mission is to entertain the world and our members come from over 190 countries, who span a broad and diverse range of tastes. We use data and insights wherever possible to help accelerate this mission, from helping our users find the right content they would enjoy to helping our content executives in producing shows and movies that people would love. Our goal for creating a knowledge graph of the entertainment world is to deepen Netflix’s understanding of the entertainment landscape as we continue to expand our mission globally.
