Certificates

Builder Certificate

  • Recommended For: Individuals with experience in data science, knowledge engineering, and other technical roles seeking the fundamentals of building, querying, and maintaining knowledge graphs.
  • Structure: Four micro-certificates, that blend self-paced mini-lessons, peer-to-peer-learning, and a live session per assignment, due every three weeks, for 12 weeks.

Explorer Certificate

  • Recommended For: Individuals without prior (or limited) experience with knowledge graphs, or in non-technical roles with data-decision making responsibilities.
  • Structure: This course is 100% self-paced. Everything you need to earn the certificate of completion is provided in the course. Each lesson or chapter consists of online text material you will read, a pre-recorded lecture by the instructor referencing the materials, and an open-book quiz to check your knowledge.

Note: We strongly discourage enrolling in both the Explorer and the Builder certificates concurrently as it is unlikely you will successfully complete the work within the same cohort period. However, if you already have experience with knowledge graphs, you may enroll in the Builder certificate only.

🌞 Next Cohort: Summer

  • We are currently enrolling for the Summer 2026 Cohort, which runs May 29 – August 21, 2026
  • You must be able to attend the Cohort Kickoff Session on May 29, 2026, at 12:00 pm Eastern.
  • You must be able to access our Google Classroom with a personal Gmail address.
  • The first micro-certificate is free. You will be billed if you wish to continue on.
  • We need a minimum of 40 participants to run this cohort. You will be notified no later than May 22, 2026.

Refund Policy: For our Builder certificate, the first micro-certificate is free. If you decide to continue, you will pay the non-refundable fee to access the remaining micro-certificates. If you are unable to complete the remaining micro-certificates, you will be able to join a future cohort at no cost. You may re-enroll at no cost only once within a 12-month period. The Explorer certificate is non-refundable and is accessible for a 12-month period.
