KGC 2027

Call for Presentations. KGC 2027

KGC 2027 | May 3-7, Bryant Park, New York City.

Knowledge engineering is undergoing a transitional phase, marked by diverse and distinct approaches to producing structured knowledge. We aim to explore this evolution and foster cross-industry convergence.

On the one hand, traditional knowledge engineering is undergoing significant disruption by AI automation across ontology development, ETL pipelines, and enterprise data management in general. This era of experimentation is defining new frameworks, guardrails, and the evolving role of human oversight. At the same time, core technologies for storage, retrieval, and data integration remain highly relevant, with innovation in this space moving at a rapid pace.

Concurrently, the soaring popularity of "knowledge graphs" and "ontologies" has inspired countless new projects and companies. However, this influx of newcomers often leads to the reinvention of established methodologies, frequently overlooking decades of technical evolution.

The Knowledge Graph Conference unites the full spectrum of the community. We invite speakers to share insights on foundational areas—such as graph databases, representation languages, ontology and taxonomy best practices, data integration, GraphRAG, and knowledge extraction—while continuing our strong focus on real-world applications in areas like agent memory, explainable and neurosymbolic AI, and enterprise semantic layers.

Submission Guidelines

You are welcome to submit multiple proposals! To ensure a diverse range of speakers, companies, and perspectives, we generally limit each speaker and company to one speaking session. This is a guideline rather than a strict rule, with exceptions typically made for sponsors who have both an independently selected and sponsored session.

Session Types and Formats:

  • Presentation Talks & Keynotes: Presentations typically featuring 1–2 speakers, limited to 25 minutes including Q&A. Can be technical, business-focused, or case-study driven. Presentation talks are typically going concurrently whereas keynotes have no other competing agendas. These talks typically take place on Wednesday (May 5th) and Thursday (May 6th).
  • Workshops: Interactive, hands-on sessions focused on practical learning. We welcome both technical and business-oriented workshops. Workshops are typically on Monday (May 3rd) and Tuesday (May 4th), and workshops are typically 90 minutes long.
  • Panels & Fireside Chats: Moderated conversations featuring 2 or more speakers sharing insights, experiences, and different perspectives on a specific topic. Times typically range between 25-45 minutes depending on the track selected and are typically limited to 2-5 speakers at most.
  • Health Care and Life Sciences (HCLS) Symposium: Sessions focused on knowledge graph applications in health care, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and life sciences. The HCLS track is a dedicated track taking place on Tuesday, (May 4th).
  • Poster Sessions: Opportunities to showcase research, emerging ideas, or projects and engage directly with attendees, typically reserved for students with a focus on knowledge graphs and/or AI and poster sessions typically take place on Wednesday afternoon.
  • Tools and Demonstrations: An ability to provide a short video (typically less than 5 minutes) and demonstrate virtually of your product and capabilities that align with our target audience of the community.

We prioritize educational, insightful, and practical content over sales pitches or promotional presentations.

We also welcome other proposals, please send them to: program@knowledgegraph.tech
