[ Frequently Asked Questions ]
Is KGC2021 an in-person event or virtual?
KGC2021 will be a virtual experience across 4 days for All-Access ticket holders and 2 days for Conference-Only ticket holders. Though the workshops and tutorials are ‘live’ they will be conducted over Zoom.
What format will the talks have?
Tutorials and workshops will be held as live events on May 3-4th.
Presentations will be pre-recorded, with live Q&A sessions to follow.
Where will the conference be transmitted?
All Main Conference events will take place on Airmeet. We encourage you to watch the introductory video to get comfortable with the platform before the big event!
How can I connect with fellow attendees and the speakers before the big day?
We welcome you to join our Slack community — a free space to connect with attendees and speakers, as well as to engage with them and us during the conference. Join the conversation.
Is there a Code of Conduct?
KGC pledges to provide a safe environment for all participants. By taking part in the conference, be it as an attendee, speaker or partner, we expect you to acknowledge and uphold the Code of Conduct.
How can my organization become a conference partner?
Can I receive a list of participants in advance of the conference?
Depending on the partnership package chosen, we’ll provide you with a participant list after the conference is over. Please note that this is strictly subject to opt-in on the attendee’s part.
Can I advertise in the conference program?
For further information about partnership opportunities and packages, we encourage you to get in touch with us firstname.lastname@example.org.
What are the different ticket options?
There are two options for paid tickets: “Main Conference” and “All-Access”. For those just wanting access to networking, vendors and the exhibit area, there is a free “General Admission” ticket available.
We recommend the All-Access pass so you’re able to take advantage of everything KGC has to offer. Starting with two full days of workshops and tutorials (May 3-4) and then progressing to everything available during the Main Conference on May 5-6.
Main Conference ticket holders are able to attend the presentations on May 5-6.
Prices will increase as the event nears, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!
Is there a student or academia discount?
Yes! View the options and purchase through the ticket page.
Is there a group discount?
Yes! If you have more than 5 registrants from one organization, write to email@example.com and we’ll help.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes, after the conference is over, all attendees will receive a digital certificate of attendance. Workshops and tutorial certificates will be charged extra.
How can I register? What are the registration rates?
Review the ticket options in order to register.
I am a speaker. Can I have free tickets?
Each speaker at KGC2021 is given complimentary access to the conference as well as a discounted rate for guests.

What is the cancellation policy?
Registrations fees are refundable, less a $25 processing fee, up until April 27th. No refund will be issued for cancellations starting April 28th, 2021.
All cancellations must be sent in writing to email@example.com. Expect confirmation within two business days with details about any applicable refund to follow.
I just want to attend one session. Is that possible to do without registering for the entire conference?
Yes, individuals wanting to attend only one presentation must purchase a ticket for the conference. With that purchase, you’ll not only get access to the whole suite of presentations but also free complimentary access to our Media Library for six months (a $49 value), as well as digital swag from KGC partners.
When will the conference take place? Where is it located?
KGC2021 will take place May 3-6 as a completely remote event. All the presentations and the live Q&A sessions will take place on Airmeet.
I only want to attend one workshop, is that possible?
Unfortunately, we don’t sell individual access to workshops or tutorials — the All-Access ticket will allow you to attend any workshop or tutorial on May 3-4.
I have a ticket, but cannot attend a certain talk due to conflicting schedules. What can I do?
After the event, all paid ticket holders are granted access for six months to the Event Media Library (a $49 value).
